Xterra Trail Running National Championship
The main event of the Xterra Trail Running National Championship is an off-road half-marathon (13.1 mile/21km) that starts in the historic Old Mill District. All racers are welcome, you don't have to have run in any races of the series. The entry fee is $35 and you can register online, at Footzone in downtown Bend, or mail the form in.
There are a ton of other fun events for your family including a 5K and 10K race for $25, a Kids Zone filled with obstacle courses, a climbing net, balance beam and more, and a K9 Challense.
The K9 Challenge is a made-for-fun event for dogs and their owners and it’s not limited to highly trained or specialized dogs. It’s a timed race with owner-dog teams competing against the clock on a combined trail run and obstacle course. It’s just $10 to enter, and the winner receives a year supply of Avoderm dog food. All entrants get a shirt, doggie bandana, and goody bag filled with cool stuff for your dog.
