Summit West

Shevlin Commons

Summit West extends west from the River West area all the way to Forest Service land and Shevlin Park, and from Awbrey Butte south to Century West. The majority of homes in this part of town are new, in fact as little as ten years ago you could hike through the forest and high desert terrain where many people now live. The homes in this area range from small simple homes to large architecturally stunning homes.

Living in this area puts you close to many recreation areas. Head west down Skyliner Road and it will take you to Tumalo Falls Park along with hundreds of miles of trails for mountain biking, trail running, or hiking. Skyliner Road will also take you to the north entrance of the coming soon Tetherow Golf Resort. Head out Shevlin Park Road and you will discover the amazingly beautiful Shevlin Park. Shevlin Park is a very popular location for picnics, walks, trail running, and mountain biking. Across from Shevlin Park is Aspen Hall with its fishing pond for kids, and picturesque hall for gatherings or wedding receptions.
